A click with the right mouse button on a desktop opens a popup menu with desktop specific commands:
This item opens a popup containing actions for the window that was clocked with the right mouse button.
this item shows a popup with actions for all application windows on the clicked desktop. For example, you can move all windows to another desktop.
This is the taskbar. It shows all windows on that desktop (or all windows on all desktops if only one desktop is visible), excluding disturbing transients. Similar windows are grouped automatically. If available and enabled, a thumbnail for each window is shown.
If an edited document has been modified, it is signaled as a 'disk' on the thumbnail. names of minimized windows appear in brackets. Items that demand attention are flashing. Startups are shown, too.
A right mouse button click on a task menu item opens the popup shown in the picture. A left mouse button click would activate, restore or minimize the window.
This menu section contains standard actions for KPager2. You can open a configuration dialog for KPager2 to manipulate the look and feel. Beside, you can change the options for the virtual desktops.
This item is an application launcher. You can type commands as well as any URL which will be opened following the associated mime type. If it is a command, the application will be executed, if it is an URL, it will be opened with the related software. The window will be opened on the desktop it was clicked on to open the popup menu.
The launcher can be exclusively controlled through the mouse. Use the mousewheel to browse the history list, use the clear 'button' to delete the contents and the mid mouse button to insert the clipboard's contents.
